The proposed workflow combines its first loudness scan with waveform analysis rather than making a separate full-file read. It is intended to calculate the necessary gain before the output pass, then measure the completed result instead of reporting only a requested setting.
A loudness preset is meant to make comparable speech or online playback more consistent. Peak normalization is a different target, and neither approach is intended to promise the same perceived loudness for every kind of music or recording.
Private browser handling
Aftermath reads a file you choose only in this browser tab. The shared workspace currently provides local file selection, playback, and task-specific planning; audio processing and export are not connected in this release.
