Aftermath File Fixer
On-device

local video-audio extractor

Save the audio from a local video without decoding its pictures.

The future extractor is designed for a video file selected from the device, not a remote URL. Its default path will inspect tracks, select audio, and copy compatible encoded packets into an audio-only output to preserve quality and keep the job light.

Your selected file stays on this device. No upload, account, or server-side media job.

Browser-local workspace

Open the private audio workspace when you are ready.

Choose one local audio file—or a local video on the extraction route—to preview browser-readable facts and set one focused local plan. The source is not uploaded, modified, or sent to a fallback service.

No upload, account, or server-side media job.

Loads only after you choose to open it.

Keep compatible audio packets when possible

For compatible MP4, MOV, or WebM inputs, the planned default is to demux the chosen audio track and write a matching audio-only container without decoding video frames. That path is intended to be faster and avoids quality loss from unnecessary audio re-encoding.

Choose conversion only when it serves the result

MP3 or WAV output would require decoding the audio track and encoding the selected format, but still should not decode the video picture track. The tool is not intended to download from YouTube, social platforms, or other remote links.

Private browser handling

Your source remains under your control.

Aftermath reads a file you choose only in this browser tab. The shared workspace currently provides local file selection, playback, and task-specific planning; audio processing and export are not connected in this release.
