What the tool does—and does not do

The tool creates image outputs using the options selected in your browser. A reported pass means the output met the tool’s selected local dimension and byte checks when it was created. It is not legal, technical, design, accessibility, security, medical, financial, or professional advice. It is not a promise that Apple, Google, a form, a marketplace, or any other destination will accept an output.

Requirements, platforms, browsers, encoders, and third-party policies can change. You must inspect the output and confirm the destination’s current rules before relying on it, publishing it, submitting it, or deleting your original file.

Your files, rights, and responsibility

Acceptable use

You may use the site only lawfully and in a way that does not harm the site, its users, or others. Do not use it to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; process or distribute unlawful, exploitative, deceptive, or harmful material; evade a platform’s safety or eligibility rules; introduce malware; interfere with the site; or attempt to access systems, data, or accounts that are not yours.

You must not use the site where an error could reasonably cause serious harm and should not use it as the only control for a legal, safety-critical, emergency, healthcare, financial, or security decision.

Availability, changes, and third parties

We may change, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or browser, a particular processing speed, or preservation of browser-local state.

The site may link to official requirement pages, Valorem, or—only when configured—advertising and consent providers. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee their content, availability, decisions, or services.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and tool are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not promise that the tool will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, suitable for a particular purpose, free of harmful components, or accepted by an external destination.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a warranty, right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and does not limit rights that cannot legally be limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected where they apply.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aftermath and those operating it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, business, reputation, or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or tool.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited only to the extent the applicable law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will defend and indemnify Aftermath and those operating it against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site or your breach of these terms, including claims that your files or outputs infringe another person’s rights. This does not require you to indemnify anyone for their own unlawful conduct or to the extent an applicable law does not allow it.

Legal terms, changes, and contact

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms do not override mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply to you.

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page and changing the effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms to the extent allowed by law. Questions or notices can be sent to contact@aftermath.cc.
