Browser support and permissions
- Modern browser with JavaScript and a browser-decodable image; native detection or the bundled local compatibility decoder may be used.
- No camera, microphone, or screen permission is needed.
Choose the right settings
- Use this route when the code may be a non-QR linear or matrix barcode.
- Use a QR-only route when the source and expected format are specifically QR.
- Use /scan-qr-code-from-pdf for PDF pages or /batch-qr-code-reader for multiple QR images.

A product photo contains a visible linear barcode and the encoded identifier needs copying for inventory review.
Starting facts
- The code is clear enough for a supported detector.
