Worked example
A photograph looks rotated after upload and its file size seems unexpectedly large, so its stored facts need inspection first.
Starting facts
- The source is a local JPG whose visible orientation differs between viewers.
- No edit should occur during inspection.
Observed operation: Open the image locally and review decoded dimensions, readable orientation, MIME type, bytes, density, colors and metadata fields.
Review the result: Use the reported orientation and byte facts to choose a separate resize, metadata or privacy action without changing the source.
Boundary: The browser-readable report is not a forensic inventory of every possible metadata block or destination rule.
