How to use this tool
Choose several local raster images, keep their selection order, and join them horizontally or vertically into one PNG. For a horizontal result, later images are proportionally scaled to the first image's height; for a vertical result, they are scaled to its width. The tool does not overlap, blend, rotate, or mirror them. A preflight rejects output beyond the local layout canvas limit before allocating the combined canvas.

Supported use
- Up to the layout selection limit of verified JPG, PNG, or WebP images combined in chosen order.
- Horizontal alignment at the first source's height or vertical alignment at its width, with aspect ratios preserved during scaling.
Before you start
- The combine workflow does not detect screenshot overlap, add gaps or labels, reorder files after selection, or create a ZIP.
- It does not rotate, flip, crop, or preserve original encodings and metadata; the result is a newly encoded PNG.

Browser support and permissions
- Modern browser with JavaScript, a supported image decoder, and enough memory for the selected image.
- No camera, microphone, or screen permission is needed.
Choose the right settings
- Use combine when several complete images should become one simple row or column in their chosen order.
- Use /screenshot-stitcher for a vertical screenshot sequence where clear repeated overlap may need removal.
- Use /flip-image to mirror one source, or a split/grid route when the desired result is multiple output files.

Three related diagrams should become one vertical PNG in the selected top-to-bottom order.
Starting facts
- The three source images have different widths.
- The desired output is one new canvas, not a PDF.
Observed operation: Order the images, choose vertical layout and render them onto one local PNG canvas using the displayed alignment behavior.
Review the result: Check ordering, padding, scaling and the final canvas dimensions before downloading the combined PNG.
Boundary: Combining images does not align semantic content, preserve all source metadata or guarantee print and upload suitability.
What you can do
Join several selected raster images in order on one horizontal or vertical PNG canvas.
If it does not work
- A very large first image can force every later image to a large cross-axis size and exceed the 24-megapixel output budget.
- An image with invalid dimensions, unsupported bytes, or a browser decode error is not available for the combined canvas.
- Large differences in aspect ratio can make some items unexpectedly wide or tall even though proportional scaling is correct.

Privacy boundary
The selected image stays in the current browser session and is not sent to an Aftermath processing service. How local processing is verified.
