Questions people ask

Clear answers and limits

Does the editor send my writing anywhere?

No. Counting and segmentation run in this page; the implementation contains no content upload path.

Why can word counts differ from Microsoft Word or Google Docs?

Applications use different tokenization rules for contractions, hyphens, symbols, and language-specific boundaries.

Does keyword density improve SEO by itself?

No. It is a descriptive metric, not a ranking target. Helpful, accurate content matters more than forcing a percentage.

How is reading time estimated?

Word count is divided by the selected words-per-minute pace. It is an approximation, not a measurement of a specific reader.

Does the export include my text?

No. The default analysis export contains metrics and keyword aggregates, not the editor contents.
