Exact pixels are only useful when the crop behavior is visible. Choose crop, fit with padding, scale down only, or stretch with a clear warning.
Setting a width and height alone does not tell an editor what to do with a different aspect ratio. Crop to fill removes edges, fit with padding preserves the whole source, scale down only avoids enlargement, and stretch changes the geometry. Aftermath keeps those choices visible beside the validation result.
The nine-point anchor determines which part of the source survives a crop or where a fitted image sits inside its canvas. Use the same global anchor for a screenshot sequence, then open a file-only override when one image needs a different focal area.
