# Aftermath File Fixer

> A free, local-first image preparation web application for JPG, PNG, and WebP. It resizes, normalizes, validates, and packages images in the visitor's browser; selected image bytes are not uploaded to a server.

## Accuracy and safe-use notes

- A passing result means the output meets the selected local dimensions and byte checks. It is not a guarantee that an external destination will accept content, authenticity, metadata, localization, or policy requirements.
- The tool never silently treats a resized iPhone capture as an authentic iPad, Mac, or other device capture. Users should verify the official destination requirements before submission.
- Current official references are displayed on the relevant guide pages. Apple and Google can change their rules; the destination's live documentation is authoritative.
